Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka is an American-British musician and sitarist. She was first in her age group to be awarded the British House of Commons Staff. Anoushka Sitar Shankar was an Indian young sitar artist. She is the daughter of Ravi Shankar and a former student. Born in London and grew up in New Delhi, she spent the beginning of her career moving between London and New Delhi. Her first performance took place in New Delhi when she was just 13 years old. Then she relocated in Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999. Anouskha is still pursuing a successful music and acting career, even though she's young. She regularly accompanies her father on stage, which she's been doing for several years. In 1998, she dropped Anourag as her first single album. She released the album Live At Carnegie Hall, a Grammy-nominated album two years later. Apart from performing in many of the biggest venues and venues, she also is a stage performer for a lengthy time. Anoushka isn't just a musician.
